Team bonds strengthened during recession

US - In a recent survey conducted by recruitment firm Adecco, 78 percent of bosses say they feel closer to their teams than before the recession. This sentiment was shared by 61 percent of employees as well.

While team bonds have strengthened, the level of stress in the workplace has also increased, say respondents. Sixty-three percent of bosses reported being more stressed today than before. The survey also found that white collar bosses are more stressed than blue collar bosses by 67 percent versus 59 percent. However, children seem to help alleviate stress; bosses with children at home reported being less stressed (58 percent) compared to those without children (67 percent).
