In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.
Looking for an Associate who is passionate about providing excellent client service and at the same time, maintaining good risk and control of existing procedures to be part of the Listed Derivatives client service team.
The Listed Derivatives client service team is a team within Securities Division Operations that provides direct support of futures activities executed by both Institutional and Hedge Fund Sales & Trading. At all times we are focused on delivering quality service to clients both internal and external.
Objectives and functions of Listed Derivatives Client Service include:
To support a portfolio of clients in Asia Pacific Region.
To engage in building and fostering good relationship with existing clients
To manage daily margin commitments with clients.
To participate in client visits with relevant departments, and to demonstrate client portals
To provide new product and market support to clients.
To participate and manage projects to delivery.
To provide investigation and resolution on clients' issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Job Summary & Responsibilities
The primary functions of this role are to provide client support with trade / position management queries and field ad-hoc requests / market inquiries. This role will be supporting top tier clients, which will require outstanding customer service to enhance the overall relationship.
Candidate will also be expected to drive and implement projects and initiatives which will enable the team’s overall control standards or enhance efficiencies.
We will also expect the successful candidate to work closely with the Sales team to enhance / build new client relationships.
MANDATORY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate should possess a minimum of 3-4 years overall experience
Strong teamwork is essential, as well as the ability to build “mutually beneficial” relationships with others. Working across geographic as well as cultural borders to ensure the success of the Listed Derivatives Client Service team globally
Strong organizational skills and the ability to cope with rapidly changing priorities are also essential
Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep track of a large and varied workload
Highly articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills
Consistently able to produce high quality work, specifically updates of the suitability of our risk and control agenda to senior executives
Strong analytical skill set and a curiosity for risk enhancements
Proactively seeks and undertakes appropriate training to further enhance client / market / industry knowledge
Energetic team player, able to work well inside a group
Flexible individual, able to be learn quickly
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to forge strong rapport with our global team
