The HR function has played a key role in Synpulse Singapore's growth story and will continue to pave the way for the upcoming milestone. As a HR Manager, you will have hands-on experience in supporting the end-to-end HR processes for the Singapore office, and will oversee the operations in the Hong Kong office. Your role will largely focus on recruiting consultants for upcoming projects, including the management of third-party recruiters and candidates. Under the guidance of the Group HR Head, you will coordinate efforts in order to be in line with the group HR policies. Through all this, you will fine-tune your research and analytical skills by creating and implementing strategies to make the function more efficient and productive.

• Manage the recruitment channels (especially third-party recruiters) to ensure a steady flow of quality candidates across levels
• Liaise with line managers to fill upcoming client project openings, including recommending suitable candidates, and drafting job descriptions
• Manage the onboarding and offboarding of employees, in particular to conduct the probation reviews and exit interviews
• Manage the appraisal process, including handling escalations and managing employee expectations
• Payroll management for the Singapore and Hong Kong offices
• Review and write HR policies and SOPs
• Organize local and overseas academy trainings, including content management with training vendors
• Process documentation and report preparation for management review
• Lead and coach a small regional team to ensure process efficiency and compliance
• Support group-wide HR projects, including identifying and implementing process improvements

• At least a degree holder in HR or any other related field
• At least 5 years of HR work experience in a generalist role with recruitment responsibilities, preferably with direct report to management
• Experience in recruiting consultants within the financial services industry, including basic industry knowledge
• Good knowledge of MOM regulations; knowledge of Hong Kong and/or any other Asian locations' employment legislation will be an advantage
• Experience managing senior stakeholders
• Experience leading a small regional team
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on attitude
