To provide training to ensure understanding of ISO and procedures and to prepare service center for various audits.
I. Ensures all record keeping is accurate and up to date on an ongoing basis in preparation for service center surveillance audits, including ISO 9002, FAA and other regional aviation authorities. Responsible for prepares reports and tracks status of corrective and preventative actions as needed.
II. Assists in developing appropriate responses to audit questions as well as assist with solving problems resulting from these audits.
III. Frequently contacts vendors to verify that revisions to technical publications and inspection records are current and accurate. Updates and maintains these records and publications on a regular basis.
IV. Maintains and updates various technical manuals and publications such as the ISO 9002 Procedures Library and FAA/regional aviation authority Inspection Procedures Manual. Responsible for distributing revised material to appropriate departments.
V. Coordinates and conducts department orientation and recurrent training to employees on ISO 9002 and FAA/regional aviation authority Procedures to ensure compliance standards are understood and adhered to.
VI. Responsible for coordinating all internal quality audits.
VII. Assists in preparing quarterly management review reports.
VIII. Responsible only for own work.
IX. Performs other related duties as required.
Requires high school diploma or equivalent with broad training in office methods or procedures with the ability to communicate both orally and written.
Requires 3 - 5 years diversified aircraft experience, with at least six months in general office procedures, computer operations and having knowledge of Aviation Authority regulations and ISO 9000 procedures.
