Role & responsibilities
Must be able to work with Inside Sales Team and US Planning team to review backlog and commits
Must have a working knowledge of ATP (Available to Promise) and compare backlog orders to forecast. Schedule orders according to board plan, lead time and business rules
Coordinates Shipments activities with appropriate Inside Sales partner. Initiates Purchase Order Requirements when required via Oracle. Reviews shipping schedules and priorities with Inside Sales and highlight any issues with the orders such as shipping instructions, order holds, carrier pick-up.
When required, support product rework and recovery plan on a transactional level. Support Senior Planner and US Planning for order prioritization especially on quarter-end.
Interfaces with Purchasing and Accounting teams when required to support Transactional Activities. New PO’s, Change orders, Open PO reviews, etc.
Support Singapore Planning Lead in other related board activities such as review of OTD reports and metric.
Performs related and other duties as required.
Minimum 2 years related experience in order scheduling and backlog review. Prefer to have OEM board products experience and experience in working with CMs.
Incumbent should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have a good understanding of planning, scheduling, and inventory control policies, procedures, and terminology.
Knowledge of Oracle Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory modules, Agile, Bill of Materials, B2B, Vendor Managed Inventory
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Good quantitative skills with analytical leaning.
Highly organized and precise.
Strong problem solving skills, ability to identify root cause and resolve delivery issues.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Candidate needs to have good communication skill in English.
Candidate must possess Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, or equivalent training / experience in related field.
