Role & responsibilities
Must be able to work with local CMs and US Planning team to coordinate factory actions and US Planning team requirements based on the Board Build Forecast and weekly in-feed plan
Work with CMs to obtain and understand Delivery Schedules based on the CM Build Plan. Highlight any issue with BOM, component delivery, and or test issues to US Planning team.
Coordinates Shipments activities with appropriate EMS Business partner. Initiates Purchase Order Requirements when required via Oracle. Reviews shipping schedules and priorities with US Planning team. Review CM OTD to the Hub In-feed Report and understand anomalies to OTD.
Reviews and monitors Consumption and Replenishment plans with EMS Business Partner. This includes recovery plan of material shortages tied to product issue, overconsumption to forecast or other related supply challenges
Interfaces with Purchasing and Accounting teams when required to support Transactional Activities. New PO’s, Change orders, Open PO reviews, etc.
If Required, Support product and/or board component rework activities based on direction from US Operations and Planning
Support E&O material review and process to closure with CMs and US Planning
Planning Lead for Singapore Board Planning team. Must be able to support Singapore Planner in order scheduling and issues related to order commits.
Performs related and other duties as required.
Minimum 5 years related experience with CMs and OEM board products
Incumbent should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have a good understanding of planning, scheduling, and inventory control policies, procedures, and terminology
Knowledge of Oracle Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory modules, Agile, Bill of Materials, B2B, Vendor Managed Inventory
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Good quantitative skills with analytical leaning.
Highly organized and precise.
Strong problem solving skills, ability to identify root cause and resolve delivery issues.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Candidate needs to have good communication skill in English.
Strong leadership in problem solving, and crisis management; able to get things done including managing issues, escalation to management in and outside organization.
Candidate must possess Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, or equivalent training / experience in related field.
