The Regional Tools & Training Analyst primarily responsible for ensuring that the planning organization is leveraging the SAS Merchandise Application to its fullest capabilities.
This will be accomplished through in-depth training of new users, advanced trained for experienced users, and hands-on support.
Key administrator for all SAS planning system in AMA.
Key facilitator between Planning & IT to ensure monthly forecast & MOP process are completed accurately and on-time.
Provide user support for business questions and issues within SAS Merchandise Planning
Work closely with SAS for application enhancements or issue resolution
Design, develop and deploy instructional training materials on all planning processes and tools leveraging self-paced, classroom, and simulation based development methods.
Update and maintain business process and policy documentation and maintenance of materials on team portal.
Improve planning processes by continuously searching for efficiencies in processes and procedures
Partner closely with IT to deliver system improvements to business teams
Provide support to reporting teams and managers for any data validation issues that arise and ensure accurate base data required for planning
Develop/host brown bag sessions on various topics and build self-guided presentations on those brown bag topics
Work with users on an individual basis to provide them with coaching on how to manage their time more effectively in SAS Merchandise Planning
Perform any testing related to SAS Merchandise Planning upgrades, product reclass, bug fixes, etc.
Bachelor degree in Business, Planning, IT or related field
3-5 years working with a Merchandise Planning tool in apparel industry
Experience working in project environments for system implementations
Experience working with planning organizations in a combined retail and wholesale environment preferred
Experience in the development of system-based training programs preferred
Thorough knowledge of adult learning and learning styles
Experience building and using simulations or web-based training systems
Assess business strategies and create aligned learning and development solutions to produce desired business results.
Learn new software applications quickly
Translate process and technical solutions to audience levels, addressing multiple roles and responsibilities
Ability to manage training work streams and provide ongoing follow up to all relevant business partners.
Manage and adapt to change while providing a stable support environment
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
