Our innovative Forensic Technology & Discovery Services (FTDS) team, a specialty group within Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services. We provide leading technology and expertise in data driven support of complex litigation cases and business issues, allowing our clients and their counsel to make informed, strategic decisions. The scope of our work is wide ranging and include dispute resolution, financial crime investigations, anti-money laundering, fraud transaction monitoring, and bribery / corruption cases.
You will help clients work through complex issues of fraud, regulatory compliance and business disputes. Through your work, you will also be part of a multidisciplinary, culturally aligned team that works with clients and their legal advisors.
Your key responsibilities
You will help clients proactively prevent and detect fraud, waste and abuse by leveraging the knowledge inside all of a client's structured and unstructured data assets. In your role, you will serve as a quality-focused liaison between our clients and the law.

Supporting digital forensic investigations while providing incident response services to investigate, detect, analyze and respond to potential intrusions
Work alongside high performing teams to perform onsite data collections, triage,
Perform data discovery tasks and malware analysis in our secure digital forensic labs and state of the art data center
Keep up to date on latest threat intelligence to continually learn, improve service delivery and maintain our leading edge best practices
Understand EY’s service lines and actively seek/encourage team members to identify opportunities for EY to provide quality services
Act as a subject matter expert in advising clients to gain greater insight into their data and the value that strong data security practices can bring to an organization.
To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor’s degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 2 year of related work experience
At least one professional designation ( e.g. EnCE, ACE, CCE, CCFP, CISSP or GIAC forensic certifications, or be in the process of attaining one of these professional designations)
Relevant, in depth understanding of computer forensic principles including incident response, network monitoring, eDiscovery, or malware analysis
Working knowledge of hardware configuration and network/data communications; Software development and/or scripting;
Database technology and database exploitation/forensics; Law enforcement evidence seizure; and/ or conducting intelligence analysis and fact based reporting
Excellent project management skills with strong written and verbal communications with willingness to travel
Ability to conduct briefings at industry events / seminars to non-technical laymen
Deep exposure to digital forensic and malware analysis tools, eg EnCase, FTK, DFF, MIR, Mandiant Redline, Memoryze, SIFT Workstation, Sleuthkit, Autopsy, Volatility, Bit9, Wireshark, Splunk, RSA Security Analytics, RSA Archer, SIEM tools
Trained on Forensics with the SANS Institute (ie FOR408, FOR508, FOR572) will be highly regarded
