Position at MediaCom
The role seeks an outgoing, enthusiastic and rounded media practitioner to lead a selection of our regional and local clients in media and marketing excellence. You will operate as a member of a client team, working closely with digital specialist units to develop and deliver integrated high quality communication solutions for a portfolio of clients and brands. You will also be exposed to the business management aspect of client management. Also, you will be responsible with supporting the overall management of the team – the training and development of team members.

Measures of success –
In 3 months:
Working with team to deliver sound strategies, integrated solutions and world class implementation across portfolio of clients.
In 6 months:
Achieve trusted media advisor status with clients.
Delivery of initiatives that enhance the development of clients.
In 12 months:
Establish integrated working relationship with both team members and members of specialist teams
Responsibilities of the role:
Foster strong client relationship for self and team and develop strong understanding of the client’s business. Position self and team members as trusted advisor to clients, ensuring engagement with clients at the appropriate levels.
Able to lead and develop small/mid-sized accounts independently.
Work closely with Director to lead the delivery of strategic and innovative communication solutions to clients, tapping into MediaCom’s specialist units to develop integrated paid owned and earned solutions. Able to lead and develop small/mid-sized response to briefs independently.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of media and market trends and opportunities and apply them to the client’s business.
Support Director in the fulfilment of initiatives that increases revenues for portfolio particularly in the area of introducing specialist units’ offering in a relevant manner to clients.
Ensure that local concerns and needs are communicated and relevant solutions and action plans developed. Where relevant, this will include ensuring that all markets have worked off a similar creative platform/strategic framework in their recommendations.
Support Director in managing and motivating team members to effectively deliver to client needs and company goals.
What you will need:
Manager : 5-6 years’ experience. Senior Manager : 7-8 years’ experience.
Skillsets : Excellent media fundamentals and landscape knowledge, strong ability to manage clients and multi-task across different aspects of the role, experienced in leading and managing planners/buyers, strategic and creative in thinking, has planned and implemented digital campaigns, is comfortable with presenting to clients.
Attitudes and behaviors : A dynamic individual passionate about media and communications, is proactive and hands-on, demonstrates accountability and responsibility, shows aptitude in learning and knowledge application.
