BUSINESS CONTEXT AND MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
In the last three years, toothbrushes have increasingly become the focus for Unilever and oral care, and we have seen significant business growth. We have shifted a European-dominated business to be more global, by growing Southeast Asia (SEA) double digit and launched into new whitespace regions. We have also launched new innovations and made our portfolio competitive to key global players.

Given the exciting growth agenda for toothbrushes, we are looking for a Global Assistant Brand Manager who will support the Global Brand Manager under both the SMILE and Closeup brand, with key focus on:
Leading the perfect launch for a whitespace market
Supporting the global brand manager in accelerating the growth in SEA
Leading a new global variant launch and supporting to define the mid-tier platform strategy
The role will report to the Global Brand Manager, based in Singapore.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-Responsible for leading the perfect white space launch in key markets and ensuring continued success
-Lead in new global variant launch and high-quality rollout to all global markets
-Assist Senior global brand manager in the delivery of global innovation for launch in lead Developed (D) and Developing & Emerging (D&E) markets, which will include creation of product concepts, claims, communication and promotion mix, price, size and channel recommendations.
-Work closely with SEA, Latin America (LATAM) & AFRICA countries to ensure smooth operations (distribution, support plan, media plan) and readiness for growth and be the lead champion for at least one or more of the countries .
-Land projects effectively by working with cross functional global teams (i.e., Consumer Marketing Insights [CMI], Supply Chain, Finance, Research & Development [R&D], Customer Development [CD])
-Work with packaging and advertising agencies to brief, design and deliver specific elements of projects and marketing campaigns
-Responsible for working with artwork excellence team on all artwork adaptations globally
-Responsible for supporting the team in driving top-line brand growth and achieving brand share & communication targets
-Responsible for regular engagement with Brand Building (BB) countries for docking
-Lead the budget planning and tracking with timely updates to stakeholders

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential:
-Bachelor degree in any discipline
-Ideally minimum 3 years of Marketing experience, preferably for FMCG products
-Experience developing concepts and brand communication
-Demonstrated top performance in project management
-Basic level of Strategic thinking analytical approach to working with concepts, consumers
-Problem solving mindset
-Able to work with multiple people from different nationalities and backgrounds
-Experienced in stakeholder management
-A high degree of rigor & order
-Flexibility to travel when required
-Strategic influencing skills required

Desirable:
-Regional or Global exposure is a plus but not mandatory
-Experience working with in a matrix organization is desirable
