UFS is the foodservice division of Unilever leading the dynamic Food Service market with a range of exciting professional food and beverage products and services to chefs across numerous countries.
Currently UFS relies on sales reps visiting chefs to generate demand, which limits the pace of growth. Here, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies and digital channels offer a huge opportunity.
Time for action: we are evolving the business model and developing contact strategies to reach the operators we do not visit. To do that, we want to extend our (awesome) foodservice team further. Do you fit right in?
Sales mostly take place via 3rd party sales channels (so called Trade Partners). Next to this indirect model, UFS recently started to sell via our own website and via eCommerce channels. We do not aim to substitute our indirect channels but we do believe we can raise the bar within the food service industry on offering the customer the best possible customer journey, based on all benefits that digital and ecommerce have to offer. In this role, you’ll be end-to-end responsible for the commercial success of selling via the website, developing and maximizing the potential of the site as well as the other eCommerce channels across Southeast Asia.
Owner of for Southeast Asia eCommerce commercial strategy
Delivery of annual commercial targets across Southeast Asian countries for the website, Online Trade partners and Pure players leveraging UFS digital marketing
Determines 24/7 onsite promotion activities together with country teams and briefs digital colleagues
Determines and briefs colleagues on commercial activities based on annual sales plan to drive commercial success like campaigns, 3rd party promotions, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Advertising (SEA), display advertising
Secures product assortment
Measurement and reporting of eCommerce performance (traffic, time spent, bounce rate, funnel analysis etc)
Determine site developments and feed dev ops team accordingly to drive commercial success
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum obtained Bachelor’s Degree
Driven by sales above anything
Commercial experience; strong preference for someone who has literally had the experience of selling things and knows how difficult that can be
Knows how to run an online business by him/herself and the practicalities that come with that
Has strong online knowledge, eCommerce knowledge is more important than product knowledge.
Online marketing experience (SEO/SEA/Display/email campaigns). Knows the dynamics of generating traffic to a website
2-7 years of relevant work experience
