Analyst, Product Management Excellence

This position is responsible for supporting the Product Management Excellence discipline and framework across products and platforms.

The Product Management Excellence (PME) team is responsible for championing the Product Management discipline (Create, Build, Run) including:
• Maintaining a culture of product management excellence
• Driving a change management agenda to advance the skills and mindset of employees accountable for product development and management
• Co-ordinating cross-functional teams to ensure quality products are brought to market and thereafter are measured effectively

• Apply project management skills and follow internal product development processes to drive alignment, integration and execution among internal and external project stakeholders supporting the development of Mastercard’s products
• Consult and advise product managers on applying the Product Management Excellence framework to their products
• Manage team and governance meetings, document discussions and proactively manage issues, mitigate risks and ensure documentation and follow-up of next steps
• Drive increased discipline on Run phase including developing and packaging of performance metrics, Product Plans and Product Reviews within the business lines
• Partner with internal stakeholders to embed and leverage data analytics capabilities and metric reporting
• Support Business Operations duties, which includes coordinating management reporting, leading team initiatives and supporting business efficiency efforts
• Work effectively with cross functional teams involved with the development and management of products including Product, Marketing, Technology, Legal, Sales and Delivery
• Be seen as a trusted partner and ‘value-adder’ to the products organization
• Develop and deliver communications

All About You
• Previous business experience in project management and/or product development/management
• Ability to influence and lead others by example through strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven problem solving, planning, follow-up and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong learning agility, intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity
• Ability to oversee multiple projects and initiatives concurrently
• Great analytical skills
