Basic Function and Scope of the Position:
Explore, develop and utilize, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Data Analytics tools to achieve high standards of operations.
Work with Equipment, Process, IT, Manufacturing, Quality and other engineering groups to develop processes for new products introduction and sustain and improve processes for existing products.
Reporting to the Life Cycle Management organization
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Lead the Singapore MES Centre of Excellence initiative with the following objectives
Factory wide MES integration and deployment
Develop MES Workflow models for all New Product Transfer programs
Develop links between the MES Workflow models to SAP and Equipment SCADA systems.
Implement MES Workflow Model development, approval, launch and control system
Continuous Improvement to support MES requirements in current manufacturing processes
Improve efficiency of current MES Workflow models to enhance ease of use
Error proving of current MES Workflow models to eliminate malpractice and improve accuracy
Execute extensive test runs (Dry and Wet) prior to implementation
Increase proficiency in CAMstar
Improve record keeping and documentation system
Lead the Data Analytics Integration in Singapore

Preferred Educational Background:
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in system development preferably implementing MES
Degree in Information System/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Preferred Experiential Background:
Experience in CIM and Camstar MES manufacturing environment
Experience in high-volume, high-tech consumables manufacturing environment
Good problem-solving and data analysis skills
Possess good project management and communication skills
