You have the responsibility and authority to establish, maintain and improve process standards for assigned operations. You will need to identify, recommend, initiate and implement programs to improve product cost, quality, service, safety and environmental impact. This includes initiate and complete technical activities leading to new and improved products as you develop a knowledge and understanding of PPU (Products, process and customers’ requirements). You will investigate quality issues, determine root cause and implement solutions to resolve the issues. You will be required to contribute in the development of proprietary processes/technology where appropriate and lead or participate in Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing projects to meet the operation imperatives.
♦Bachelor degree in Materials, Engineering, Science or Diploma equivalent working experience.♦Strong statistical background with good problem-solving and analytical skills.♦High degree of initiative and drive for success with good analytical skills.♦ Knowledge on Failure Mode Effect and Analysis and Design of Experiments (FMEA & DOE)♦Hands-on and dedicated to continuous process improvement♦Familiarity with Statistical Process Control, Six-sigma will be advantageous.
