Manager, Business Development, Co-Brands
Overview:
The role reports to the Vice President Market Development Co-Brand, supporting AP co-brand product management and business development efforts.

Role:

1. Support co-brand business development efforts including:
o Contributing to identifying and prioritizing co-brand pipeline for priority verticals (e.g., Airline Cobrands)
o Contributing to the maintenance of the co-brand opportunity pipeline and weekly status reports
o Support development of sales material
o Contributing to the construction of proposal storylines and gathering and creating content (i.e., PowerPoint slides) for the population of said proposal storylines
o Presenting slides internally and externally to stakeholders, including target merchants
o Co-managing and, at times, leading the co-brand proposal process or a workstream within the process and ensure best marshalling of MA resources
o Contracting support
o Contributing to the development of the co-brand product strategy and annual budget
2. Support co-brand product management efforts, including:
o Contributing to and, at times, leading the identification, prioritization and deployment of new MasterCard co-brand features, benefits, assets and capabilities
o Contributing to the successful implementation of co-brand conversions
o Developing and delivering co-brand product, acquisition and usage best practices presentations
o Conducting desktop research to track co-brand product value propositions (including features & benefits), changes in value propositions, and co-brand marketing efforts
o Tracking and reporting MasterCard’s co-brand market share by conducting desktop research, managing third party vendors and managing internal stakeholders
o Co-managing and, at times, leading the management of third party research vendors, consultants, and feature & benefit asset providers

All About You:

1. Knowledge of cobrand payments market and MasterCard’s business model, including profitability drivers, stakeholders, and role in industry
2. Sales management experience in financial services or payment industries; experience in developing and marketing products and services to consumers
3. Ability to independently manage relationships with peers in a matrixed environment
4. Highly collaborative
5. Strong project management skills
6. Ability to lead the facilitation of ideation and work sessions
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills
8. Strong people management and development skills, and experience managing large cross-functional teams
