PRODUCT SALES SPECIALIST
Position and Requirements Summary:
We are looking for an exceptional Product Sales Specialist, dedicated to high performance, personal excellence and a strong work ethic, who shares our passion for transforming medical education and patient safety.
The primary purpose of this position is to expand relationships with existing and prospective customers by supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow one or more product line(s). The success is measured by the capacity of the job holder to perform product demo in one or more assigned product lines that results in sales. Use product knowledge and experience to develop, nurture, and help the Sales organization close on qualified opportunities. Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
The ideal candidate must be skilled at assisting in sales pipeline management and must cultivate and support the sales manager closing the sales within the assigned territory. Must be autonomous and work well in a cross-functional team. Must develop solid relationships and represent the reputation and brand of CAE Healthcare. This position is based in the assigned Sales territory.
The expected career progression for this position is to move towards an Associate Sales Manager or a Sales Manager role.
Responsibilities:
Provide product demonstrations for CAE products portfolio to meet the assigned targets for sales growth by travelling extensively to network with existing customers and develop future customer base.
Provide coaching to the distributor(s) and client(s) to enhance their knowledge of CAE product(s).
Assist Sales and Marketing organizing events including but not limited to Tradeshows, regional events, product demonstrations, and customer events.
Follow up on sales generating activities in the assigned market for assigned product specialty
Acquire extensive knowledge of medical simulation field to help in the pursuit of individual and company goals.
Assist the sales team with targeted campaigns including organizing, promoting, and executing sales strategies.
Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
Complete all administrative duties (Expense claims, etc.)
Requirements:
Four-year college degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of two years of experience in either sales (a record of achievement) or work in the medical field interacting with users or clients.
Subject matter expert in at least one of CAE Healthcare product or franchise: Surgical, Ultrasound, Human Patient, Audio Visual Solution, Learning applications or Product certification or equivalent technical credential.
Excellent oral and written communication skills including strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Organized and detail oriented individual with a proven ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and cross functional environment.
Autonomous and self-driven.
PC proficiency.
Fluent in English.
Must be able to travel up to 50%
Collaboration in virtual, multicultural and heterogeneous teams.
Great presentation and demonstration skills
Preferred:
Second languages are considered an asset
Experience with a CRM system.
General:
Complies with and enforces all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures both at CAE Healthcare and wherever representing CAE Healthcare (i.e., program site, trade show, etc.).
Perform all duties in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Maintain security of all proprietary information.
Perform other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 50 pounds
Working Conditions:
50%+ travelling to client sites.
Outside travel to customers’ premises.
Demo for healthcare professionals
Attend tradeshows.
