Primary owner of Focus Market Development (FMD) planning/activation in-market, which is defined as; deploying of the marketing plans as part of the FMD market specific plan, and measured toward efficiency and effectiveness in each campaign cycle according to pre-defined goals. Contribute to development of teams to deliver mature functional capability to the core.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for FMD marketing plan localization across retail and consumer marketing activities
Synthesizes multiple inputs/insight (customer, market, brand, category, product, distribution, leading edge marketing trends etc) to define marketing strategy, objectives and approach.
Understand & adapt campaign strategy / plan
Sense check plans and enrich where necessary
Develop 3 year marketing plan for each category, including focus areas within the consumer journey and exec summary (the marketing elevator pitch)
Develops recommended marketing investment by touchpoint, market, and across calendar
Execution of plan in local market as appropriate to FMD market specific goals, Channel plan execution; Retail Development Group (RDG) & Wholesale, Campaign/media plan execution, Consumer events (as applicable)
Manage Localization Coordinators - verify compliance with creative platform, ensure fit with local culture, on-plan delivery of final/localized asset and effective TMS / TM usage
Defines campaigns to support the marketing plan translate into high level Campaign Objectives, KPIs and overall plan
Defines communication objectives and works with marketing services on brief for creative platform. Approves according to product story, positioning, and comms objectives
Brief Agencies for Creative Development and works to ensure objectives are met
Local Measurement, support market research, analyze market and consumer insight with local data / info / context, develop and deploy measurement plans based on FMD market specific plans/goals
Input local context, insights and data in planning phase of marketing planning and for performance projects
Definition of communication material needed for local execution and manage local agencies for FMD market needs
Full people management responsibility including, inspire and attract talent, support performance, recognize and celebrate, empower development and model the Bose E&V – building capability toward functional excellence
