Consolidate company financial and operational performance reports, trends, forecasts, using appropriate metrics
Lead the ASM site financial planning process

Capital Investment updates
Headcount Reporting
Ability to measure transactional activities/metrics (Cost per gram, Waste, volume etc…..)
Variable Cost Productivity planning, tracking, reporting
Integrate trend data and information into plans, deliverables and recommendation’s
Ensure timely and accurate submissions of statutory financials (e.g. GST, WHT), partnering with JAPAC Accounting and Commercial teams, Tax and the business as needed
Ensure timely and accurate submissions of financial deliverables for government grant submissions
Transactional support for statutory financial activities (e.g. GST filings, WHT filing, audits, year-end stock-take balance sheet reconciliation)
Incremental statutory/financial support of Singapore Commercial team due to legal entity inclusion in Amgen Singapore Manufacturing Pte. Ltd. (1107)
Monitor and ensure financial controls and compliance
Manage external relationships with vendors providing financial services (e.g. audit, tax)
Reviews with team to understand periodic analysis of operating results compared to plan, prior periods and forecasts
Core member of the Senior Leadership Team of ASM
Provide strategic direction and guidance in all financial matters
Ensure activities on site are aligned with ASM site goals and ultimately deliver on finance goals
Drive a continuous improvement and efficiency culture within the organization
Develop and implement business processes to drive efficiency and mitigate compliance risk
Provide financial acumen training to SLT and XLT
Provide financial analytics and advice to drive strategic and operational decisions
Define and maintain the strategic roadmap of deliverables in coordination with the global Amgen financial calendar
Direct the team to prioritize and ensure all deliverables are met. Re-distribute workload, if needed
Cross site collaboration within the Amgen network. Share best practices and incorporate existing processes that apply to ASM structure.
Partner with accounting during month end close to ensure timely and accurate financial results
Leverage support from the European Operations finance teams in The Netherlands and Ireland while working as one global/regional team. Support particularly in areas of :
Variable cost productivity evolution
Audits both statutory and corporate
Costing/Bill of material set up
Developing new reports from SAP/Hyperion/EDW

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Finance experience OR
Master's degree and 6 years of Finance experience OR
Bachelor's degree and 8 years of Finance experience OR
Associate's degree and 10 years of Finance experience OR
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business and/or MBA degree
Certified public accountant or past experience working in accounting (with preference for experience in cost accounting)
Experience supporting senior leaders of an organization as an FP&A business partner or in some other advisory capacity
Managerial experience to include hiring and staff performance management
Experience in preparing executive communication to include written and oral presentations
