Specific responsibilities include:
Arrange fuel for customers worldwide (scheduled and ad-hoc flights), set up and sending out Sales Orders to appropriate suppliers / airport contacts
Co-ordinate with Credit Control department to ensure customers do not exceed their credit limits and adhere to company credit policies
Update database with fuel shortages and other critical operational information
Field incoming telephone calls
Proactively working with Dispatch colleagues to contact and reengage inactive customer portfolio.
Deal with customer pricing enquiries for ad-hoc fuelling, (verbal and written)
Gain a good understanding of company and products/services offered
Maintain client profitability at desired levels set by the Manager/Sales teams
Support the Sales teams with telephone and price quoting support
Work with Supply team to develop day-to-day supplier relations
Assist customers and internal personnel with pricing and general queries
Job Requirements:
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
The successful candidate is like to have about 3 years of experience, preferably in aviation or in the area of customer service
A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, strong customer service skills, and the ability to build relationships
Effective and professional telephone manner
Commercial awareness and sound business judgement
Ability to anticipate issues, work well under pressure and to priorities effectively
Ability to deal with the unexpected, show initiative and work alone at times as required
Willingness to work over weekend and public holidays (on a rotational basis)

Knowledge of commercial, business and military aviation fuel market
Conversant in aircraft types
Experience with Oracle systems
Fluent in languages in addition to English
Good working knowledge of world geography
