This senior leadership position will lead the Asia South Sales Team with key responsibilities to grow Veritas’ portfolio across the Asia South customer base. The role’s primary mission is to influence and manage the new growth strategy and create a competitive sales culture focused on winning and growth. The Senior Director will drive consistency and interlock for the organization and understand the complexity and day-to-day activities involved, when managing and expanding the business. He/She will have gravitas and executive presence within a corporate environment, and be comfortable interfacing with a range of individuals from the C-Level to the key decision makers within their responsible territory.
Responsibilities include:
Lead the Asia South strategic goals to drive bookings, coaching and motivating a team of sales professionals with a major goal of growing and expanding the new revenue stream
Building and developing the sales team operations to drive stronger relationships with customers and partners and to execute against the Customer Lifecycle models for the relevant business segment.
Managing and measuring the business to set an aggressive sales plan.
Developing in partnership with Finance a holistic forecasting methodology with defined goals and metrics identifying both short and long term success measures
Contributing and participating in the ongoing success of building and driving continuous opportunity improvements within the Vision and Strategy for the APJ Sales organization.
Key Success Factors:
Manages through major change within the organization and sales partners. Works with key influencers to ensure high levels of employee, partner, and customer satisfaction through the organizational changes within Veritas
Incumbent must bring experience and success in leading a Sales Portfolio illustrating strategic initiatives in adoption and expand methodologies that delivered results in their business portfolio. Experience in best practice, customer lifecycle and Customer Service functions would be a definite plus.
Candidate should illustrate the ability to work well in highly matrixed and complex go-to-market and route-to-market environments.
Ability to take conceptual ideas and translate them into a forward thinking objectives

Proven personal experience establishing revenue growth while concurrently growing market share and gross margin

Broad Information technology/Services network and experience

Enjoys working in a fast paced changing environment
Able to demonstrate flexibility and resiliency
Typically requires a BA/BS in Business/Finance
MBA preferred but not required
10 year experience in sales/strategic planning and execution (preferably in the technical industry)
Track record of managing large diverse cross functional projects and teams without direct organizational control
Experience developing and managing complex financial planning and portfolio management in a highly matrixed organization
Experience in managing a major cost center in large development organization
Requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
