The PS Implementation Engineer (L1) is the entry level job in the PS Implementation Engineers Job Family. They work closely with the PS Implementation Engineering Team and acquire the ability to make configurations, action installations and attend to break/fix events at a medium complexity level. The individual functions in an environment of lower complexity to that of PS Implementation Engineers, however works closely with PS Implementation Engineers (L2) and PS Implementation Engineers (L3).
What you'll be doing
Assist in installation, break/fix and problem management
A PS Implementation Engineer (L1) develops the ability to start 'owning' portions of an installation, break/fix incidents and problem management. The PS Implementation Engineer (L1) has a basic understanding and appreciation of technical design principles. The individual develops an understanding of fundamental project management and administration processes.
Ensure client satisfaction
The PS Implementation Engineer (L1) functions jointly through the PS Implementation Engineers (L2) to meet client requirements. They work under close supervision from the PS Implementation Engineers (L2).
Perform technical telephonic duties
The individual may be required to perform periodic telephonic duty on the technical service desk, providing second line telephonic support under guidance to customers.
Behavioural skills
PS Implementation Engineers (L1) display a strong learning orientation. They have good verbal communication skills and are able to assist a team to ensure their success. They demonstrate a client service orientation and have a hands-on proactive approach.
