Basic Function and Scope of the Position
As a Production Maintenance Technicians, you will provide technical support in a high volume manufacturing environment. You will define and perform repair and maintenance associated with consumables manufacturing environment and. troubleshoots problems in non-functioning equipment such as optical, mechanical, electrical and fluidic systems. You will need to assist engineers to improve equipment uptime and reliability.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on optical, mechanical, electrical and fluidics Equipment.
Use mechanical, optical and fluidics knowledge to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment issues, as they arise
Perform basic computer/software troubleshooting
Work in a team environment to improve equipment reliability and uptime
Work with engineers and assist them to execute controlled experiments to address equipment-related yield and quality issues and drives implementation of solutions in a production environment to meet production goals
On Day/night shift, provide maintenance and process support to a high volume manufacturing organization
Work is completed with minimal supervision and assignments may be completed without established procedures or instructions
Ability to execute complex assignment and provide in-depth technical knowledge to resolve problem and recommend solutions.

Preferred Educational Background:
Dip. in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
Higher Nitec in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering will also be considered
Preferred Experiential Background:
3 to 5 years of experience in high volume manufacturing environment preferred
Working experience in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices industries would be an advantage.
Candidate has experience with optical/mechanical/electrical and fluidic systems. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) would be a plus
