CIB Operations - Wholesale Client Onboarding (WCOB) Global KYC Operations Services – KYC Advisory & Learning Support – Hong Kong
Job Overview
This new role is with Wholesale Client Onboarding (WCOB) Global KYC Operations Support team who are based in London, Bournemouth, Hong Kong, Singapore and Brooklyn. The team has two main responsibilities: 1) – Desktop Procedures who are responsible for ensuring all Desktop procedures and documentation are complete, correct and in place to ensure all New and Incremental business is on-boarded properly and 2) KYC Advisory & Learning Support who are responsible for providing guidance on KYC operational process and KYC training. Both teams work closely with the WCOB Product Delivery, Re-engineering & Project Management group as well as the CAO & Technology Training team. This new role has been created to provide specific support to the WCOB teams across the globe with particular focus on Hong Kong, Singapore & Bangalore.
Core Responsibilities
Work with local WCOB management and WCOB Training regional manager to identify KYC Training requirements for location
Work with WCOB Managers to shape future KYC training opportunities based on analysis of current operational performance
Provide KYC Training support to local staff
Partner with CIB CAO Training to ensure broader professional development opportunities for WCOB Ops are being proactively addressed
Provide on the ground operational advisory support and SME knowledge to the Hong Kong & Singapore WCOB KYC teams and partner with their global advisory support team in NA and EMEA.


Skills / Experience Required
KYC knowledge is essential
Experience in a leading financial institution with a proven track record in the training development/training delivery space is ideal
KYC training experience advantageous
A proactive approach to problem solving, owning issues and delivering solutions to a tight deadline
Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation and presentation
Partnership and relationship management: must have ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders
