Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job:
Assistant Customer Development (CD) Operations Manager is responsible for a smooth and cost effective operations between the company, customers, and specific third parties. The key challenge of the role is to develop consistency and coherence in the day-to-day operations of the CD organisation, thus enabling Business Development Manager (BDM) to focus on core selling roles.
The role can be seen as “nucleus” of the CD Department in providing tools, training and ensuring the success of strategic development up to execution. Lead the centralized strategy development and execution for operations which includes process, system and tool support in the area of opportunity tracking.
Business processes & operating guidelines
Understand customer management strategy in relation to Supply Chain improvement initiatives
Operational Planning - responsible for overall coordination of Southeast Asia & Australasia (SEAA) and Northeast Asia (NEA) cluster Operations including delivery of Internal Operating Plan (IOP) targets, order cycle management and forecasting process; Coordinate with BDM to consolidate at each division level, ensure timeliness of sales forecast, ensure accuracy of data to facilitate efficient order fulfilment.
Trading Term Management - Provide support to BDM - Ensure timely accrual of all Trading Terms in the system; ensure proper tracking of trading terms / promotion
Gate keeper for New Product Development (NPD) process; ensure timeliness of project rollout and requirement fulfilment.
Responsible for the development and implementation of new processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations. Act as a liaison/partner between the BDM Team and other Internal Business Partners.
Provide support for KPI monitoring and management reporting, maintain information database for CD.
Maintain information database for Total Division: primary and secondary sales, distributors stocks, customer orders, casefill reports by territories / customers.
Communication, information, training
Manage and facilitate internal and external CD communication / assessments
Provide all CD information to BDM, other CD roles and other departments
Drive successful deployment and adoption of CD tools for the CD organization and ensure data accuracy & completeness.
Remain knowledgeable of key processes, business initiatives and internal resources in order to assist the BDM in accomplishing company goals.
Audit Compliance - Liaise with audit team both internal and external
Monitor achievement against plan and recommend action plans to re-establish performance objectives in line with agreed targets.

Management of offshore resource – monitor and ensure timeliness and compliance to key processes according to agree SLA:

Maintain and implement supporting tools :
Support Customer Services (CS) re. Master Data Management (MDM)/ Pricing/TTS/Account Receivables (AR)/Order Processing
Order to Cash
Ensure prompt testing on all Change Requests User Acceptance Test (UAT) testing and ensure smooth transition to production.
Remain knowledgeable of:
SAP FI Module
SAP SD Module
SAP Pricing Module
SAP Rebate Module
Relevant experience required:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution
At least 5 years of business experience, preferably cross-functional
Experience in either Trade Category Management or Supply Chain or Field Sales
SAP FI, SD, MDM, Pricing and Rebate modules knowledge
Ability to operate on a cross-national scale and develop remote management skills
Ability to stick to the role as outlined and not to be dispersed by non-core local activities
Meticulous with details
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
