Job Description
As a member of the Regional GCB Cards and Mortgage Compliance Team, the incumbent needs to assist the Regional Cards & Mortgage Compliance Head to provide compliance oversight and support to all countries in the region. The Cards and Mortgage businesses comprise Credit Cards, Ready Credit Personal Loans, Installment Loans, Balance Transfers, Debt Consolidation products, and Mortgage products. The incumbent is expected to perform relevant compliance processes and provide guidance to the businesses so that they will comply fully with the letter and spirit of all applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the APAC Regional & Singapore Compliance Head for Cards & Mortgage Products in the following areas for both Region and Singapore Country:
Analyze, challenge and approve new regional products and processes working closely with regional business partners
Provide regulatory guidance and advice on Citi Policies to business on day-to-day matters relating to Credit Cards, Ready Credit Personal Loans, Debt Consolidation products, Mortgage loans
Work with countries to ensure high quality annual CARAs as well as prepare regional CARA reports including socialization with Business
Work with Business during implementation of new regulations / compliance policies in the unsecured loans and Mortgage loans areas including update the iTrac in a timely manner
Advise country compliance teams on the RCM CAATS retrievals project as well as drive all Compliance Must Win battles to effective and timely completion
Design and implement effective and high quality Compliance Monitoring for Cards and Mortgage areas
In Singapore, liaise with Business units to ensure timely reporting by Compliance to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) of nearly 40 reports as well as various regulatory adhoc surveys during the year
Analyze Regulatory breaches and work with Business to ensure corrective actions are robust
In Singapore prepare regulatory correspondence for all product related interaction with the Regulator
Provide Compliance consultation to Business on new business initiatives / projects and any product related outsourcing activities
Review and provide Compliance and TCF approvals of Marketing material and Product Documentation
Compliance review and approval of Customer promotions, Sales Staff Annual Variable Compensation and Tactical incentives programs
Provide Compliance Training
Ensure prompt, accurate and high quality Compliance updates in regional dashboards, compliance reports, and Country governance forums – CLCC, CLGC, Country Dashboard, local Board and Audit Committees
Work with relevant units in case of escalated Customer Complaints to regulator in above product areas to ensure a timely and satisfactory response is sent by Business
Perform Unit MCA testing and Quarterly Compliance Monitoring for above products
Complete Singapore CARAs for Cards and Mortgage AUs
Qualifications

Qualifications
You should preferably have a Bachelor Degree along with 5 to 7 years of experience in Consumer Banking Cards & Ready Credit Loans, Mortgage product, credit risk management or compliance / control
Experience in local regulatory knowledge would be preferable
You should possess strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
You are also expected to be a committed, flexible and independent contributor, with strong organizational and time management skills
Good oral and written communication skills and ability to convey information appropriately are expected
