MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
The Assistant Marketing Manager, based in Singapore, will play a key and strategic role in reaching our business agendas. This role will play a strategic role in opening up new white space markets for Unilever in assigned markets and develop the white space marketing expansion strategies for Unilever International. The role will also support the Customer Development (CD) teams to help seed brands into key channels.
The role is expected lead for the deployment of brand seeding models, leverage digital and shopper marketing to build brands rapidly, partner with global and regional Brand Development (BD) teams to analyse the market and lead the cross functional UI teams to land innovations in market fast with impact.
The role will report into the Global Marketing Manager for Unilever International based in Singapore. The role will interface with all Unilever categories at Director / Brand Manager level and Unilever International (UI) supply chain and finance teams across UI globally.
Support the local business development managers to ensure On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery of all key strategic projects hitting Incremental Turnover (iTO) & market share targets
Develop disruptive best in class digital and social marketing plans for key brand launches
Analyse regional white spaces across the assigned markets
Recommend strategic brand launches from a global bank of brand opportunities
Define an e-commerce strategy working closely with key internal and external stakeholders
Share best practice and learnings with wider UI marketing team
Support the Marketing Manager on other on the job requirements – be open to being flexible
Launch key niche brands across white spaces
Marketing experience in BD and/or Brand Building (BB) in any region globally with a strong consumer focus
Strong track record of consistent in market delivery
