Job Description Summary:
This role will be responsible for:
Managing and coordinating execution of risk assessment activities.
Coordinating risk assessment activities within one or more business units. This activity includes garnering buy-in from stakeholders, managing timelines, communicating expectations and methodology, and reviewing incoming risk assessment documentation for consistency and quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to document processes, map risks and legal obligations to those processes, and identify, document, and assess the control environment which mitigates those risks.
Supporting the creation and ongoing management of compliance laws and regulations (Legal Inventory) that apply to PayPal globally.
Managing the legal inventory database and workflow system to ensure all regulatory changes are properly identified and routed to the appropriate stakeholders for review and approval.
Providing governance and oversight to changes to global legal inventory which may include facilitating working sessions with legal and various control partners to review the applicability of a law or regulation to PayPal’s products and services, providing summaries of anticipated regulatory changes to ERCS staff and performing regulatory analysis to identify similarities between regional regulations to help facilitate the creation of regulatory “best practices” within PayPal.
