This role is within the Supply Chain organization of Amgen Singapore Manufacturing. The Sr Associate Warehouse’s key responsibility to perform a Day-to-Day warehouse till End-to-End distribution operations. The scope and responsibilities shall include stabilize the daily support operation and ensuring meeting the site adherence metrics.
Perform warehouse operations per site and multisite procedures. All materials received shall neatly and transfer to appropriate storage locations. Route documents for the materials received to the appropriate functions for further work processing. Record and report any variance for further action if required.
Pick, pack and kitted materials per production pick list and issuance the materials to the production per finite schedule.
Coordinate several core functions personnel to meet the intended production schedule. Meet the kitting schedule adherence with zero downtime.
Assemble and stage materials per the shipment packing list and hand-over the goods to designate freight forwarding agent. Accurately complete shipping document in accordance with shipping instructions.
Conduct inventory counts as required and record the variances in accordance to operating Procedures.
Ensure accurate data are transacted. Input transaction data into the SAP systems and file the documents accordingly.
Operate pallet truck, stacker, forklift and other material handling equipment. Handle all materials according to safety, health and environmental procedures with special attention to the handling of hazardous chemicals and store materials in accordance to its controlled storage requirements.
Provide the 1st level of problem solving to Warehouse Personnel and LSP Personnel in the operation of warehousing activities.
Guide Warehouses Personnel and LSP on the proper and safe handling of materials, compliance to cGMP practices/procedures.
Work collaboration with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and EH&S to manage change events and support the internal & external audit program.
Partner with an investigator for any non-conformance investigation if required.
Support and align with Operations Excellence plant core team member who champions OE initiatives, provide support and drive continuous improvement in the plant and tracks progress on a plant level as aims to reduce the number of non-conformance to achieve First-Pass and high efficiency processes in Amgen.
Diploma or Technical School graduate or equivalent
3 years of directly related experience with valid forklift driving license
Experience and knowledge in materials handling, operating of materials handling equipment, basic safety knowledge
Must have good understanding of procedure/ document system used for materials movements
A strong back ground in operations and maintenance in a pharmaceutical environment. Good knnowleage of SAP application and techniques including Work Standards, Kanban, 5S and Visual Management is add-on advantage.
