An opportunity has now arisen to join our APAC regional marketing team as a Marketing Intelligence Specialist. Working in a close knit team and collaborating with product and marketing managers across 11 different APAC countries, you will be supporting both our B2B and B2C segments through robust data analysis (both qualitative and quantitative) in a consultative and strategic manner.
You will assist in identifying strategies based on customer, pricing, channel and category insights, and recommend programs that build preference for and improve the demand of Philips Lighting products. You will manage the analysis, synthesis and interpretation of data to deliver accurate and insightful analysis in a proactive manner for our business.
More specifically, you will be:
Compiling business intelligence information and data via market trend and competitive analysis
Deep diving into consumer and end-user segments to under and support the decision making process regarding products, pricing, etc.
Providing guidance to product and marketing managers within each of the APAC countries, creating proactive strategies to support growth
Assisting in the development and implementation of regional marketing research plans in alignment with business objectives
Developing strong working relationships with external agencies and internal stakeholders across the Philips Lighting ecosystem
You will report directly to the Marketing Intelligence Manager APAC for Philips Lighting and work closely with product and marketing colleagues in the region.

We are looking for
This opportunity would suit individuals who come from a similar role with deep experience in marketing, analysis and research gained from multinationals in the manufacturing/consumer electronics/engineering or related sectors. In addition, you will also need to demonstrate:
Strong analytics (quantitative and qualitative) with data driven experience especially in the areas of measuring marketing effectiveness and customer insights
Advanced digital knowledge and experience in building models for analysis (utilizing regression and other statistical methods)
Solid understanding of marketing operations across both B2B and B2C
5+ years marketing/category management role with hands on analytical experience
3+ years’ experience in market intelligence and or/strategic planning with in depth knowledge of marketing and consumer/product research techniques
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business or a related filed
