As a Production Maintenance Technicians, you will provide technical support in a high volume manufacturing environment. You will define and perform repair and maintenance associated with consumables manufacturing environment and. troubleshoots problems in non-functioning equipment such as optical, mechanical, electrical and fluidic systems. You will need to assist engineers to improve equipment uptime and reliability.
Perform routine maintenance, corrective as well as preventive maintenance
Assist and support shift equipment engineer to oversee production line
Managing spare part inventory
Perform basic computer/software troubleshooting
Identify, involve and improve equipment performance
Work with engineers and assist them to execute controlled experiments to address equipment-related yield and quality issues and drives implementation of solutions in a production environment to meet production goals
Ability to work under limited supervision and instruction to carry out routine task and new assignment
Able to execute moderately complex assignment and provide independent judgment.
Preferably to have experience in packaging equipment, heat sealer, automated tube/bottle filling equipment, pumps (piston & peristaltic) and laser etch equipment.
Experience in AMMS (Advance maintenance management system) and SAP will be a plus
Require basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Words, Excel and Powerpoint).

Preferred Educational Background:
Dip. in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
Higher Nitec in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering will also be considered
Preferred Experiential Background:
2 to 3 years of experience in high volume manufacturing environment preferred
Working experience in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices industries would be an advantage.
Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) would be a plus
