Tasks and Responsibilities:
Develop effective and on-going communications with regional field sales and regional marketing teams to determine region specific training needs of field representatives and channel partners to drive customization of training programs to meet the region specific needs including:
Gathering VOC (Voice of Customer) for region
Localization as necessary
Adaptation of training content and programs for regional competitive and cultural needs
Deployment of global sales training strategies, tactics and programs within the APAC region which includes:
Sales onboarding
Technical and product knowledge
Market segments and applications
Customer value proposition and competitive positioning
Sales process and methodology
Sales systems, technology and other enterprise-wide processes enabling ease of navigation throughout the organization
Train-the-trainer models
Sales coaching and leadership
Selling into clinical and other validated/regulated markets
Coordinating and conducting periodic needs assessments of APAC Sales teams.

Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree required, with a Masters Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Genetics desirable.

Preferred Experience:
5+ years experience in Life Science or Clinical capital equipment Sales required.
Direct training & facilitation experience required
Understanding of cultural selling differences between Japan, China, Korea, India, ANZ and the rest of APAC.
Understands traditional strengths and opportunities to drive skills improvement that are seen as valuable for our customers in those geographies.
Proficiency in English, and one other Asian language is highly desirable.
