Job Description Summary:
The HR Shared Services Manager will manage the implementation and administration of human resources programs, policies, transactions, and procedures through a team of specialists in a shared services model. To select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Oversees teams providing direction, guidance, transactional support and direction on HR programs, processes and practices to employees and managers. Work with HR specialty areas (COEs) and leadership to provide feedback and implementation support for the development of new programs and processes. Functional areas to include benefits delivery, HR compliance, global mobility, vendor management, and other employee life cycle management.
Job Description:
Lead and maintain a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building, and succession planning
Contribute to the strategic direction and formulation of corporate-wide Shared Services for People Team
Define and communicate internally-set quality standards; ensure that all aspects of HR Shared Services work to achieve satisfactory quality and consistency
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve processes, systems and measurement practices to eliminate manual processes/work and drive efficiencies
Establish ongoing reporting requirements and workforce analytics to drive data-based decision making
Manage day-to-day operations of our vendor teams executing our services
Elicit feedback regarding the effectiveness of HR Shared Services activities and, when appropriate, modify activities
Foster and maintain strong internal relationships with key People team stakeholders and business leaders
Prioritize and appropriately delegate projects among staff members
Manage and escalate risks and issues while collaborating with cross-functional partners on resolution
