Job Description Summary:
APAC Sales Operations Organization is responsible for driving sales excellence for our internal sales and external partner community at PayPal APAC. Our focus is to support revenue and TPV growth by focusing on key initiatives and programs that enable sales and partners to sell more effectively and productively and also ensuring we support business process management to manage risk and exposure to the company.
The role of the APAC Sales Operations leader will be directly responsible for supporting both global and local operations initiatives & local strategic initiatives associated to enabling our sales teams to sell more effectively. Including optimizing our current business processes through automation and business process improvement, improving business visibility through reporting and analytics, enabling sales through communication, learning / development and compensation management. The role will work closely with our global sales operations centers of excellence focused on tools, enablement, reporting, compensation and PMO. The APAC team is responsible for gathering requirements, validating business processes, stakeholder engagement/ management, initiative sign off and driving deployment, adoption and change management associated to local and global initiatives. The team is also front line sales support for our sales organizations on end to end process management and tools support.
The leader will manage a team of approx. 7 resources in Singapore and Australia. In addition to team management and development, they will be responsible for executive communication to local leadership across the region, updating them on operational plans and progress, ensuring they fully understand plans and impact for the local region. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring the global COE’s fully understand the regions requirements to support global build project build out.
Drive increased sales productivity and improved controls through process improvement, optimization and automation, associated to the management of Pricing, Risk, Legal and opportunity management processes.
Lead & Participate in large strategic Local & Global cross functional initiatives associated to Sales Process, Sales Enablement, reporting & Analytics, tools and compensation for APAC deployment.
Strategic and operational reporting & analytics framework to effectively manage the business and business processes (including pipeline management strategy)
Drive Adoption and change management of global projects.
Stakeholder communication and engagement on all sales operations programs
Cross- functional coordination of New Year Readiness Management (Compensation & Goal setting)
Management of Sales support resources supporting front line sales support on sales process and tools.
Leadership, coaching and mentoring of direct team
5+ years’ experience managing a team and building development plans.
10+ years of experience leading and managing large global, local cross functional programs focused on driving process improvement and/or new capabilities
10+ years of experience driving process optimization initiatives with a major focus on systems automation
Proven track record working on multi-region projects requiring large change management requirements
5+ years of experience with Salesforce.com & CRM and proven experience in driving initiatives that leverage CRM as a strategic business enabler
Strong business acumen and strategic mindset
Strong analytics and reporting capabilities
Strong communication and presentation skills with experience communicating and engaging with Senior leadership
