Purpose / Objective of the role:
Establish an internal communications strategy with the Site Leadership team
Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization’s strategic vision
Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders at the Singapore Site
Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organisation including external communication messages
Plan, edit, write & maintain content for a variety of internal communications mediums, including but not limited to Sharepoint, Site newsletter & Site Communications Board including the layout of its contents
Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form in alignment with Shire’s policy for internal / external communications
Collaborate with partners in Tech Ops, Commercial, External Comms & Public affairs as well as local Tech Ops Ambassadors
Roles and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a site portfolio (products and capabilities)
Create and maintain a Communication Board, as well as the digital displays
Lead Town Hall meeting planning, agendas, presentations and scheduling
Develop & publish the Singapore site newsletter with key stakeholder input
Liaison with the APAC commercial communications lead, and plan collaborative activities
Develop a communication template and plan for the roll out of information to the site
Provide regular updates and communications to the site
Organize & Lead the site visitor presentation for all external visits to site
Build & maintain the site’s SharePoint site and keep it up to date / help departments develop their SharePoint pages
Support employer branding efforts, working with site HR
Responsibility to adhere to any applicable EHS requirements.

Degree / Diploma holder in Media / Mass Communication / Journalism or Marketing. Degree holders in Engineering / Sciences / will also be considered with the relevant working experience
5 to 8 years working experience for Degree / Diploma holders
Key Skills and Competencies
Excellent writing, editing & proofreading skills
Excellent command of the English language
Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex messages and relay them
Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills with the confidence to handle senior executives and stakeholders
Proven ability to be creative using written & other forms of conventional media.
Creative skills in utilizing digital media platforms & technology is a plus
