Opportunity to Lead, Build and Drive Success
Associate Partners lead client relationships on issues of strategy and management related to development. In doing so, Associate Partners are responsible for providing strategic direction to consultant teams on projects, ensuring quality control of project delivery and for the overall successful completion and delivery of the project. They will be expected to serve as stewards and mentors in the firm and will work closely with consultants to manage their professional development. Associate Partners will play a key role in generating new business, knowledge development, and thought leadership opportunities and will be expected to take a leadership role in building and managing the firm. Travel is expected and varies by office and project
Experience We Seek
Experience managing project teams and building client relationships at a top-tier management consultancy OR Project Manager experience from a top tier consultancy combined with several years of senior management experience in the international development or private sectors
Deep understanding and expertise in international development, evidenced through exposure to global issues such as economic development, global health, education or environment
Experience living and working in different cultures (time spent in developing countries strongly preferred)
Graduate degree (MBA, MPA, Ph.D., or JD) from a top university
Professionalism and demonstrated experience working with senior officials in the public or private sector
Sensitivity to the political and cultural environment of international public agencies or similarly complex environments
Demonstrated effectiveness as a team player and team builder and performing well in a start-up atmosphere
Ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner (written and verbal)
Strong analytical abilities (quantitative and qualitative)
