About the Role
As leader of a team, it is your key objective is to drive retention rates and recurring revenue as well as working on a strategic level with the regional business units. You will increase revenues by driving up sell and cross sell opportunities at retention and throughout the customer lifecycle. As a senior manager, your role will be to develop, coordinate and execute on major strategic projects on behalf of the organization.
The Renewals Manager will recruit, build and develop their team to deliver results and identify and develop those with high potential. Conversely, you will also identify performance issues and deal with them in a timely, professional manner. As a Renewals Manager it will be your main function to lead an internal based renewals sales team that supports one of our geographic regions
· Create, implement, measure and review the strategic and operational places that drive achievement of the business’ goals.
· Establish working relationships with the external parties that support the achievement of success and be conversant with the systems and procedures in place to ensure conformance with standard business practices.
· Builds and maintains relationships with key internal stakeholders in order to maximise business results
· Builds and maintains key senior relationships with customers, partners and acts as the liaison for Veritas with those key stakeholders
· Communicate the Veritas vision and aligns team and individual goals to achieve business results
· Drives employee loyalty through the delivery of and commitment to Veritas employee value proposition
· Recruits, builds and develops a high performing team to deliver business results
· Drives performance review and development planning process with annual and quarterly review meetings
· Coaches and provides career development for every individual contributor
· Works collaboratively with other leaders to acquire additional/specialist resources as required
· When required you will provide customer escalation management for problem resolution.
· Identify and implement best practice policies, process and tools,
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
· Proven experience in leading success in a Geographical or Vertical market segment
· Clear experience in managing, developing and driving a Sales team.
· Knowledge of Veritas portfolio and competitor technology
· Strong relevant customer and partner knowledge
· A strong leader, you will have the presence and credibility to influence and motivate
· Demonstrate passion, enthusiasm and innovation
· Self-confidence, which translates well for customers, partners and colleagues
· Previous experience of working within an IT/Software related business
· Experience of managing a team
· Individual needs a proven track record of driving to specific renewal targets
· Experience of working in a fast paced, revenue driven organization
· Experience of working within a US global matrixed organization similar to Veritas advantageous
· Fluent in English and other Asia Pacific languages beneficial
