Manager, Account Management
a. This position offers the opportunity to support the account management for a regional bank in Asia Pacific.
b. The position requires a self-motivated, commercially pragmatic, business developer with strong relationship management and influencing skills to partner with customer & MasterCard cross functional teams to create and implement impactful payments programs that maximize segment penetration & drive MasterCard and bank revenues.
c. The ideal candidate will one with strong execution focus, possess solid payments industry experience, preferably gained in Business Development /Product management on the Issuer side with the ability to work across multiple disciplines and functions. The candidate must also be very knowledgeable and comfortable dealing with the technicalities of digital payments and technology.
d. Only applicants with a sound knowledge of retail electronic Payments/ Cards from an Issuing / Acquiring/ Network perspective will be considered.
-Accountable for strategic sales management, relationship management, project planning, program retention, and portfolios growth of accounts.
-Drive sales and implementation process to analyze and introduce new business opportunities to customers that will lead to increased volume, volume share and market share for MasterCard.
-Develop relationships with customers at senior and middle levels and develop value propositions to customers to increase MasterCard's business with customer.
-Coordinate and integrate MasterCard's involvement in all market-related activities with customers and provide consultative support relative to specific MasterCard products/services, trends and the card industry.
-Develop strong relationships between MasterCard and the customer across all functions
-Work closely with other functional and Regional team.
-Responsible for all administrative and operational issues for the account planning and budget.
All About You
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
-Good experience in relationship building/marketing banking/Technology/Consumer Products.
-Self-starter, mature, demonstrated initiative with drive to run independently with high-level guidance from manager.
-Good at developing business relationships with people at junior/senior levels and driving results.
-Ability to integrate knowledge across functions.
-Payment industry experience and knowledge of the banking & payments markets (preferred)
-Strong negotiation skills in win-win product and service agreements.
-Strong communication and presentation skills to create interest at all levels of the organization, and develop strategic business solutions.
-Ability to work in a matrix environment.
-Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be effective with diverse internal and external audiences.
