Crowdo is expanding its organization and seeking to add a compliance officer to our team in Singapore. This role is perfect for both an experienced compliance / risk professional looking to diversify their career at a fintech startup, or an up and coming compliance specialist looking to take on a broader range of challenges.
Role Overview:
• Main Responsibilities:
o Help Management to formulate regulatory policy positions
o Strategize and assist execution in regulatory engagement such as license applications
o Set up and supervise implementation of various compliance, risk, IT Risk, outsourcing policies
o Train and educate staff on relevant policies
o Take accountability for all regulatory reporting – including but not limited to monthly, quarterly, annual and also CMS rep license related
o Take responsibility for client onboarding – including adherence to KYC and AML policies
o Lead regulatory audits as and when required
o Assist in preparation and discussion in the risk assessment / credit committee
o Other related tasks as required by Management from time to time
o Prepare periodic performance reports across markets to Management
o Assist individual markets on various financial and accounting policies
o Assist with annual accounting audit and budgeting review
o Assist with compiling performance reports for reporting to key stakeholders
o Assist in periodic budgeting process
o Maintain Human Resource related information to supervise payroll functions
o Other related tasks as required by Management from time to time

Experience required:
• > 5 years relevant experience in compliance and risk functions
• Ideally > 3 years relevant industry experience in financial services
• Must be proficient in Singapore Securities and Futures Act
• Experience in working independently
• Experience in working in a Startup is advantageous but not mandatory
