Marketing in a cloud software company like ACL is always an exciting challenge … but that big challenge has some big rewards. You’ll need to draw on all your creativity and ingenuity for success, but trust us, it’s worth it. Here are four good reasons…
Young At Heart
We’re a 30-year-old company that moves like a startup. It’s the best of both worlds. We have huge customers (think Fortune 500), impressive revenues, and are not worrying about our next funding round. At the same time, we’re busting into new markets and disrupting an entire industry, so things are always interesting around here. Interesting in a good way.
We Are Change
Disrupting an entire industry means driving change internally. Breaking into new markets depends on flawlessly executing our market strategy (yes we have one – it is super tight and data-driven – like our solution) by arming our frontlines with everything they need to win. A shared vision binds teams together, creating a cohesiveness that is unique. We are all contributing to this disruption and are having a blast doing it.
We Have High Standards
We all set high standards for ourselves, wanting to be the best we can possibly be. This extends to wanting to be the best for our team and our customers. We all rise up to the challenge to be our best and live up to these standards. We celebrate our successes, and see opportunity in our mistakes. Quite simply, we want the best.
Our marketing and sales development team is a global powerhouse of professionals that are changing the way our customer think about the value they bring to their organizations. From our HQ in Vancouver to our regional home bases in London and Singapore, we are creating campaigns that have material impact on ACL’s bottom line and position us as the premier GRC provider in the world. We are multi-disciplinary team of web and graphic designers, communications pros, events gurus, demand generation leaders, and sales development experts.
Leading our web marketing and design team is an especially rewarding spot to be because of the opportunity to bring all aspects of our brand, product and marketing strategy together in a single vision on the web. And, we have an impact. In ACL marketing, we don’t just create leads, we create selling opportunities. Here’s a bit of a primer on our methodology: The B2B CMO’s Secret Sauce: A Sales Development Team.
You’ll lead the design, development and ongoing evolution of:
ACL.com and our regional microsites
Campaign-specific microsites and custom landing pages
Tradeshow and event microsites

Now enough about us. Here’s what we’re looking for in the new leader of our web marketing and design team.
In SaaS B2B marketing, all roads lead to the web. You are looking for an opportunity to personally drive a vision for the web and visual brand at ACL. It’s the ultimate collaborative effort; bringing together core messaging from our product management team, cues from product UX design, lead generation strategy from our demand generation team, content curation from our marketing communications team and analytics from marketing operations into a single vision that uncovers leads, educates buyers, and delivers a quality customer experience.
A Digital Marketer
You’re not a webmaster, you’re a digital marketer with a desire to have an impact on the revenue generation effort. You know what it takes to support a demand generation team but you also have lead generation savvy of your own. SEM, social targeting, remarketing… optimization – these are things you have a –healthy – obsession with.
A Data-Driven Decision Maker
When you develop a new web platform or path, you’re focused on the outcomes. You develop new efforts with a focus on data supported measurement that demonstrates how big the ROI really is. You highlight the clear, causal relationship between your programs, lead generative success and ongoing optimization.
You understand what it takes to evolve a visual brand, respecting the equity in the brand today and the persona we’re solving for. You’re hungry to advance the visual brand as a tool for competitive differentiation, awareness and customer loyalty.
A Partner (we’re all one team)
You know that great marketing isn’t done in a vacuum. It’s a collaborative effort between marketing pros, like yourself, and your colleagues in product, sales development, sales, and customer success. You partner with your colleagues to strategize, execute plans and share visibility into what’s working and what needs some tweaks.
A Skilled Technologist
You relish new technology and simply can’t stop yourself from getting hands on to shape the design and ongoing optimization of ACL’s web properties. You’re a capable front end web developer with a bias for buying rather than building…content management systems, plugins, apps and text editors are part of your toolkit. You’re interested in and might have even experienced the bigger chunks of our marketing stack including Salesforce.com and Marketo.
