You will support the Capital Management team in ensuring successful delivery if the Aviva group and Solo Solvency II reporting requirements on a timely basis. Alongside this you will support wider projects and initiatives within the Capital Team and wider Aviva Investors’ Finance team as required. Your key responsibilities will include:
Pro-actively deliver on current and future SII reporting requirements in the most efficient and effective manner
Keep abreast of developments in the SII reporting requirements (EIOPA, the PRA, Aviva Group) and respond accordingly
Day–to-day management of the BAU requirements and any outstanding project activities from an “Aviva Investors” finance perspective to ensure compliance with Aviva SII reporting group milestones as well as SII solo reporting timetable.
Liaise with the Aviva Group Solvency II reporting team to ensure appropriate understanding of the group requirements (SII reporting technical accounting and group consolidation guidelines).
Liaise with the Aviva Group SII Methodology team on the matters of technical nature/when judgment/interpretation for SII reporting is required.
Maintain the Aviva Investors Solvency II process documentation, aligned to existing reporting practices and solutions across the “Aviva Investors” business unit for Aviva Investors Pensions Limited and the fund management entities.
The Team:
The Aviva Investors finance team has responsibility for financial, management, regulatory and capital reporting both internally within AI and to the wider Aviva Group. The team has around 70 finance professionals in London, France, Chicago, Singapore, Poland and Luxembourg.
Job Requirements:
Must Have:
University degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)
Qualified or Part -Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
Experience of Asset Management or Financial Services Sector and some knowledge of Solvency II preferred.
Desirable:
Understanding of FCA and PRA regulatory regime and Capital reporting rules.
Knowledge of TM1/ Magnitude / SSK advantageous
Relevant experience of working in a reporting, control, risk or audit environment
Demonstrable experience of leading and proactively managing core deliverables
Demonstrable project management skills to ensure all internal and external reporting deadlines are met
