As the Programmatic Trader, you will manage campaigns across a key client in the region. You will be a highly motivated, eager to learn individual, ideally with hands-on experience in advertising technology platforms and digital planning and buying. You will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of video, display and mobile campaigns, ensuring deliveries are achieved or exceeded.

Measures of success –
In three months:
Management of campaign implementation and reporting timelines (i.e. working with relevant parties to deliver what is required – vendors, analytics team)
Understanding digital planning and ad-serving technologies
Campaign set up on DSPs and other required platforms, with daily monitoring of campaign pacing and performance against KPIs
Meet billing/ invoicing deadlines
Assist in the development/ ongoing management of research data, creative specifications and Playbook (championing landscape projects; helping with non-trading work) to place the team in the forefront of programmatic buying in Mindshare
Specifics include: (a) mobile and video programmatic landscape: what is available in the market; what is available on the platforms we run; what are the requirements when it comes to creative development or upload/ must-haves (b) contribution to monthly newsletter (inventory avails etc)
In six months:
Meet the KPIs set in the first 3 months
In-console (strategies, bid price, pacing, frequency adjustments) and report-based (sites, exchanges, creatives etc) optimisation
Take charge in troubleshooting any campaign issue that may arise*
Creation of media plans to meet local briefs
Weekly reporting insights for local markets
Assist in EOC reports for local markets

In 12 months:
Meet the KPIs set for the first 6 months
Support and educate planning teams in identifying opportunities and delivering recommendations
Deliver audience and optimisation insights, plus understanding implications of campaign constraints (management of post-buy reports)
Maintain current/ ongoing knowledge of media buying platform updates and integrations
Responsibilities of the role:
Create display, video and mobile media plans according to campaign briefs shared by the Mindshare local teams
Coordinate with local Mindshare teams for smooth campaign execution – manage implementation timelines from media plan approval to campaign launch
Accurately setup campaigns on Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) according to approved media plans
Regularly monitor and optimize campaigns with the help of our DSP account managers to ensure deliveries as per plan are met or exceeded
Proactively find ways to make campaign processes more efficient and find creative ways to optimize and deliver on goals
Assist in evaluation of new platforms, supply sources and other technology vendors
Assist in creation of post-campaign presentations – unearth insights, learnings and propose next steps
Entering billing details into internal systems (BMD)
What you will need:
Hands-on knowledge of advertising technology platforms such as ad servers and DSPs
1-3 years’ experience in media planning and buying, ideally focused on digital advertising
Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
Ability to work well within cross-functional teams and in a fast-paced environment
Curious, sharp and good attention for detail
