ServiceNow is currently seeking a RFP (Request for Proposal/Information/Quote) Coordinator/Writer to oversee the coordination production efforts for cohesive, well-organized and high-quality documentation in response to customer requests for software and services information, proposals, quotes and other supporting business and technical product materials.
Daily monitoring of the RFx Database Queue for prioritization and assignment
Establish RFx type: Request for Proposal, Security Questionnaire, Vendor Form or other.
Based on type and other criteria, determine:
Field Security only
Region (Americas, EMEA, APJ)
Notify appropriate Sales or Solution Consulting manager(s) about request
High level support of all Self-Service requests
Training and guidance for Account Executives and Solution Consultants about the use of RFx Center tools, templates and resources
Assist with answering customer questions where answers are not available in the RFx Center
On occasion and when requested, review customer-defined scope, business and technical requirements and assist with development strategy, plan and schedule for each proposal
Educate sales and response team members on ServiceNow and RFx policies.
Maintain and distribute to RFx teams:
Quarterly updates to Sales Organization spreadsheet: alignment of go to market teams in each region (sales representatives/sales management, solution consulting, professional services, legal, sales operations)
On occasion, assist RFX team members with printing and shipping of responses via Fedex Kinkos or other document shipping vendor
Review Self-Service RFx records to assure final submission documents are attached in the database upon completion of the response.
When required, work with internal functional resources including but not limited to: Sales, Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Alliances, Field Security, Legal, Sales Operations, and Technical Support.
Skills and Knowledge
Strong written, copy-editing, spelling, grammar, punctuation and style skills.
Professional interpersonal communication skills (phone, email, texting, social media) for collaboration with diverse internal partners and resources.
Excellent organization and time management skills to oversee simultaneously occurring projects, tasks and deadlines.
Proven ability to adapt to constant change in a fast-paced and team-oriented sales environment.
Capable of working additional or flexible work hours as needed, both independently and in collaboration with remote resources to meet deadlines in different time zones.
Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Desktop publishing and graphic design skills a plus.
Education and Experience
Technical or University degree in general business, communications, marketing, publishing, computer science or equivalent work related experience required.
One to two years of writing experience preferred.
Previous experience working in a SaaS internal customer database such as: Financials, Customer Relationship Management, or Technical Support is preferred.
