Responsible for the monthly and quarterly close processes for deferred revenue including the preparation of monthly account reconciliations and journal entries.
Review customer agreements and other required documents for proper revenue recognition in accordance with Align’s policy and revenue recognition standards.
Support the calculation of deferred revenue estimates used in multiple element arrangement revenue recognition
Prepare monthly deferred revenue and revenue metrics.
Understand and respond to all aspects of the revenue process including identification and resolution of revenue issues using system inquiry and analytical skills.
Responsible for the calculation and review of sales credit reserves for APAC.
Responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly revenue trended reports, presentation materials, flux and ASP analysis and other ad hoc reports.
Respond to audit requests and support SOX compliance including monitoring and updating policies.
Support the AOP and Outlook process by providing metrics and data as requested by FP&A or commercial team.
Responsible for the preparation of supporting revenue recognition documentation for significant transactions.
Support requests from cross-functional organizations including AR, Operations, Cost Accounting, and Sales.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline. Certified Public Accountant / Chartered Accountant preferred
Experience with authoritative revenue pronouncements including EITF 08-1, SAB 104, EITF 01-09 and 00-21
At least 6+ years relevant experience with strong analytical skills
Thorough understanding of US GAAP or IFRS
Working experience in a multinational company environment, with the ability to operate in diverse cultures
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management across the region
Proactive, meticulous and a good team player
Strong verbal, written communication skills, and interpersonal skills to provide good business partnering support with a customer service focus
Good time management skills and ability to meet assigned deadlines in a fast pace working environment

Prior working experience of SAP will be an advantage.
