Job summary
Red Hat's Cloud Success team is looking for a Cloud Success Architect to join us in Singapore. In this role, you'll go beyond just "break-fix" support by engaging with customers and partners early during the adoption life cycle to ensure a positive experience and a successful product adoption. You will serve as an expert in one or more cloud and DevOps technology areas, earning respect both in and outside of Red Hat and acting as a trusted partner. As part of a global and diverse team, you'll need to think on your feet and improvise both technically and in relationships, and be committed to contributing to the development of the team. Primary job responsibilities
• Engage with Red Hat's field teams, customers, and partners to ensure a positive cloud technology onboard experience resulting in long-term enterprise success
• Help customers and partners to define and achieve their adoption success criteria by providing proactive recommendations and advice
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction with each qualified engagement through the complete product adoption life cycle
• Explain how specific Red Hat cloud solutions and our cloud product roadmap align to customer and partner use cases
• Advocate for innovation and early adoption of cloud technologies
• Capture Red Hat product capabilities and identify gaps as related to customer use cases through a closed-loop process for each step of engagement life cycle
• Build C-level relationships with Red Hat's strategic customers and partners that result in deeper loyalty and smoother adoption experience
• Expand Red Hat's influence with key industry thought leaders by helping to develop, articulate, and refine our overall strategy, technology vision, and case examples of customer impact
• Engage with Red Hat's product engineering teams to help develop solution patterns, based on customer engagements and personal experience, that lead to platform adoption
• Establish and maintain parity with the Red Hat cloud technologies strategy
• Contribute internally to the Red Hat team by sharing knowledge and best practices with team members, contributing to internal projects and initiatives, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor for specific technical or process areas
• Travel, as necessary, to visit customers, partners, conferences, and other events

Required skills
• Experience working in DevOps environments
• Background in deploying applications in cloud environments
• Application servers expertise in Red Hat JBoss Middleware, TomCAT, WebSphere, etc.
• Familiarity with technologies like OpenShift, containers, and cloud management
• Experience in developing containerized applications
• Solid understanding of CI/CD
• Experience with HAproxy or other load balancing and route methods
• Knowledge of objects within Kubernetes (pods, services, deployment configs, etc.)
• Comprehension of enterprise architecture and strategic business drivers
• Expertise with source code management tools like git and svn
• Understanding of enterprise applications like SAP, Veritas, or SAS
• Experience in a technical leadership or mentor role
• Hands-on experience with a variety of hardware vendors
• Ability to manage multiple issues and projects while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in a support, development, engineering, or quality assurance organization
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to customers both clearly and concisely
• Eye for the big picture and ability to work with our customers' and partners' top technical leaders
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related discipline, preferably computer science or engineering
Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) is preferred
• Ability to travel less than 10% for customer visits and events
