The Accountant-General’s Department (AGD) is a department under the Ministry of Finance. Our accountants, as well as professionals of other disciplines, work at both AGD HQ and also at Ministries. As the accounting and financial experts in the Government, our people go beyond number crunching. They manage billions of dollars in revenue and expenditure, examine policy issues with financial implications, develop accounting standards and policies, support financial systems and conduct internal audits.
