APAC LEAN SIX SIGMA LEADER – DIRECTOR LEVEL
This company is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• build lean and Six Sigma capability in APAC
• drive adoption of best practices, whilst co-owning the development of functional Sigma resources and the execution of projects, with functional Sigma leaders within supply chain management, quality and global tech operations
• intervene - hands-on work with sites that are lagging or require significant upgrade in performance; intervention includes aiding reprioritisation of activities, deploying outside resources, mentoring, assessing local resources as well as recommending changes
• select, engage, coach/mentor and develop Sigma staff
• strong foundation in the basics of TPS - scientific problem-solving and standardised work
• develop and improve on visual management systems to make problems visible and engage people in problem-solving
• lead supply chain teams through value stream diagnostics to identify key levers for performance improvement
Key Requirements:
• over 10 years’ experience in manufacturing and supply chain processes
• strong influence and conflict resolution skills
• experience leading lean and Six Sigma projects
• proven track record in driving process improvements across multiple sites
• ability to coach/develop people, with a track record of delivering results
• Black Belt certification will be an advantage

SITE PROCUREMENT LEAD
This company is a global leader in specialty chemicals.
Key Responsibilities:
• ensure contractual agreements are in place and in line with company standards, whilst regularly reviewing contractual risks and conduct to ensure full compliance by suppliers
• lead procurement team to achieve procurement bets/scorecards, whilst providing leadership and direction on procurement activities
• leverage and review practices, systems and processes to achieve procurement excellence
• proactively analyse market trends and ensure effective strategies for all procurement categories
• work closely with site users to identify, evaluate and qualify suppliers who can provide high quality products and services at competitive rates
• extensive use of procurement tool such as E-auction, SAP and bidding tools
Key Requirements:
• bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, specialising in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, textile or equivalent
• minimum five years’ relevant experience, with two years’ at a supervisory level
• experience in MRO purchases
• extensive knowledge of local and overseas markets/suppliers
• experience in contract drafting and contract management will be an advantage
• working knowledge of import and export procedures, as well as e-procurement or e-auction tools
• ability to effectively self-manage in both individual and team-oriented roles with minimal supervision
• results-driven, with the ability to work well under pressure
• excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
